As we finished our last week of Freedom School, we said "see ya later" to 13 graduates going on to 3rd grade! We gave lots of hugs, wrote lots of notes (thanking our favorite teachers and friends), and of course, kept reading lots of books! Take a look at our last week!

We all got a little break for the 4th of July, but even a short fourth week couldn't dull our shine! Check out our extended newspaper that talks about all the fun things we have been doing the past couple weeks!

This week, Mercer University came to our Freedom School site to interview our Servant Leader Interns and Site Coordinator! They participated in Harambee and got to look in on the integrated reading curriculum too! Check out the article!
