Bishop Robert Wright comes to Freedom School!

Bishop Robert Wright came to visit Freedom School this morning as our read aloud guest! 
Did you know that he was one of the original SLIs when Children's Defense Fund started the Freedom School program in the 90s? He is passionate about the mission of our program and the impact we are making! 

As he read to our scholars, participated in chants and cheers, and engaged with each of us throughout the morning, Bishop Wright encouraged and recognized the amazing things happening at Freedom School this summer!
